Dolly Parton, born Jan. 19th, 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. to 12 children from a poor family children who would grow up together eventually, learned very early how to get out of difficulties by using her rich and imaginative imagination. Parton was offered the gig and in the year 1967, she signed with RCA Records in 1968 and was a part of with the Grand Ole Opry in 1969. Parton quit the Wagoner's band in 1974 when her solo singles such as Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene oversold her collaborations.
